How does the BeterDak roof calculator work?

You choose a flat or pitched roof, house type, height and dimensions. Then only the questions that match your situation follow (structure, insulation, terrace, skylight or internal finish). The concise estimate — labour, materials, scaffolding, lift and skip — appears immediately on screen.

Do I have to enter my email address to see the price?

No. The estimate always appears on screen. You only fill in contact details and municipality if you want the same summary by email.

Which measurements do I need?

For a flat roof: length and width in metres. For a pitched roof: length, width and ridge height; the calculator computes the roof surface as 2 × length × the rafter length. A rough estimate is enough for the quote; the on-site survey is decisive.

Why does the calculator include scaffolding, a lift and a skip?

Those items belong to a realistic site set-up for roofing work. That way you see not only materials and labour, but also the logistics costs that typically come with a flat roof or internal insulation in the province of Antwerp.
